Is the sims 2 kitchen and bath interior design newer than the sims 2 freetime?

I have the kitchen and bath interior design and freetime but i dont know which 1 i should put in the drive. If i insert the freetime it says to put the kitchen...... so i do that. then it says to put in freetime.Is the sims 2 kitchen and bath interior design newer than the sims 2 freetime?
Kitchen and Bath came out AFTER FreeTime, however, you should be playing on the FreeTime disk, not the K%26amp;B disk.





With the stuff packs, you always play the game with the disk for the most current released expansion pack that you own, which in your case, is FreeTime.Is the sims 2 kitchen and bath interior design newer than the sims 2 freetime?
Kitchen and Bath is newer than FreeTime, but it's only a Stuff Pack, not an Expansion Pack, which FreeTime is.





So, this is what you do -





Delete the shortcut icon for Kitchen and Bath. I don't know why the Stuff Pack installs keep making them, since they are only confusing to people.





You can delete any Sims 2 shortcut actually that is not FreeTime. The game will always need the disc for the most recently published expansion pack that you own.





Put the FreeTime disc in. Run the game using the FreeTime shortcut icon.





No matter what you install that you haven't previously, you will need the FreeTime disc, and you will run it from the FreeTime icon.





This will be the case until you install the Apartment Life Expansion Pack due out later this year.
